Plastic Mould Injection Tooling and Investment Casting

From CAD to component model, we'll convert your company's product into tooling for plastic mould injection or investment casting.

Case 1 Problem:

  • Our client needed a specialised tool for their company that would cut and bend the nail extruding from the horses shoe. Device must be easy to use and must withstand rough day-to-day handling.
  • Solution:
  • B.F.T. recreated and adapted the client's original design to produce a crimper that would produce the effect they desired. To date, this is the only product available that can produce this time saving method.

Case 2 Problem:

  • Our client needed die cast tooling to produce artificial knees to a standard design. The CAD drawing and prototype for the product were supplied with the contract.
  • Solution:
  • B.F.T. re-created the model in 3D using "Solid Works" CAD system, building a 3D die cast model around it and developing a wax prototype. Once approved the tooling was produced by our engineers to match our client's requirements.
